Given everything else going on hold I think this will too, because LBS and outlets to buy a new helmet will be shut.
I may just send them an email referencing the existing reports of the hole, and describing my incident in the hope that this pushes this hole up their list a bit. I don't think I can be fussed with formal proceedings, even though I think that's probably the best way of getting this particular hole fixed.
But it's all a drop in the ocean because Surrey's roads are so incredibly bad compared to neighbouring Kent. I'd negotiated goodness knows how many equally bad holes in the hour or so leading up to this.
