Where and when do you cycle through Gatley. I'll watch out for you. I do regulalrly pass a few cyclists and we either smile or grimace at one another ( weather dependant ).
I'm usually cycling slowly in a high vis vest and usullly red in the face.

On my longer route I cycle through Gatley (on my way to Didsbury - I do a loop rather than up Manchester Road - just cos......) - so if you see a guy on a red road bike, usually with colour matching clothes (yes....I know ) with stupidly bright lights front and rear, wave, I'll wave back.

I cycle down the A560 but at silly times of the day due to my shift work, so it's either 5am, 1pm, going to work.
2.30pm or 10.30pm coming home.
I see very few female cyclists on my commute. but have a nodding relationship with a few guys that I see regularly.
Usually in a yellow jacket, black tights and black helmet riding a white 'racer'

I have been known to be a bit red in the face too, especially when I've not cycled in for a few weeks

Strictly a 9ish and 5ish commuter so unlikely to see you unless I venture into Northenden when not commuting. Will wave if I spot you.

I saw a few hardy fools cycle commuters this morning as I normally do and I always wonder if any of them are members off cyclechat? Could do with a CC flag or secret wave or something......

perhaps we could all where a CC arm band?

The last 6 weeks has been mainly the MTB down the Trans Pennine (Snow spikes..etc..etc...), but, when, like today, it's tarmac time, I go Woodley, A560, Stockport, Cheadle, Gatley, Longley Lane, Northenden, Palatine Rd , then snook back to Didsbury.......

Oh if you are riding on Palatine Rd....I'm the guy doing warp speed down the white lines as all the cars sit there.......... ahem........

I don't do 9-5 and would get scared mixing with all the traffic if I did

Did a 8-4.30 shift for a few months last year where I would occasionally see Fossy at the Kingsway junction of the A560 going the opposite way unfortunately or I might have had to scalp him

Nice dry commute both ways and am ready for bed
