Enjoyed looking at your photo slideshow, very nice:thumbsup:. As a matter of speaking, I've got a double C2C ride planned for 2014, that is to cycle from Sunderland to Arnside and back to Whitby and have named it the S.A.W..

I have noticed, you have trekking bars, any good. I have a pair of trekking bars, but not too sure, if I should put them on.

I cycled the C2C earlier this year - after an abortive attempt to do it five years ago when I ended up in a crumpled heap at the bottom of hill after, um, over-exuberant braking  . Great fun but I think people do underestimate how tough it is: in difficulty terms I'd say it's as hard as you get on the NCN, with only Lon Las Cymru and the Pennine Cycleway matching it. Of course, torrential rain over the three days didn't exactly help...

I've written up my experience and a bunch of other information at cycle.travel/route/c2c - part of a new site I've just (quietly!) launched. There's downloadable maps, a stage-by-stage guide and other stuff on there that could be helpful. Comments welcome!

Enjoyed looking at your site and interesting advice and tips, even for me, who has done the C2C seven times. Good luck with your site.
