Presta-long

Silly question, but I usually buy Specialized presta valve tubes for my road bike (an Allez) from bike shops. Picking up on a post in the found a bargain section, I went to order some online and noticed an option for "Presta" or "Presta-long" valves. I assume I just want the Presta - but out of interest what is the presta-long - is it for aero wheels that require a longer stem so the valve gets through the rim?

The only difference is the stem of the valve is slightly longer.. it would still work on your normal rims if you got them by mistake.
