Here is an example I grabbed when planning one of my rides in Devon... (I used print screen on the mapping software and pasted the image into a paint package to crop it.)
If you'd used the snipping tool you could cut out the pasting and cropping stage and just select the bit you want.

Although now I probably use snipping tool more.

If you'd used the snipping tool you could cut out the pasting and cropping stage and just select the bit you want.
I usually end up resizing the image too and often changing colours etc. so it isn't a problem to crop in the graphics package while I am at it.

Still, when I am back on the laptop I will play with the snipping tool and see what I think.

snipping tool allows for scribbling stuff on things which is useful

I don't have a printer. I use the one in the library because I refuse to be taken for a ride by the printer ink scam.
Which reminds me, I've got a file I need to take in today.
