Both my sisters have new big houses with an integral garage, are the cars ever in there, nope. It's just an extra Utility room. One doesn't really need a garage, but the other hubby is 'handy - 'e.g. tools etc.

We did use ours as a garage, but too many bikes took over. !!!!! ^_^:bicycle::bicycle::bicycle::bicycle::bicycle::bicycle:

My sister lives in Mold, North Wales. Where she lives is suburban 1970's houses. Nice enough, nothing special.

10 or so doors up is a house with an Aston Martin uncovered, sat on the drive, just rotting away in the North Wales rain.

From memory it's a DB4 and he's been offered lots of money for it, but he's content to let it rot on the driveway. Nowt as queer...

My bikes live in the garage. We used to get a car in there too. More bikes, car goes outside. My car isn't worth much, and the missus is quite new, but won't fit. One of the bikes did live in a bedroom next to a radiator. Got sent to the garage when the kids arrived 16 years ago... BOOOOO...

To the OP, the bloke is probably lazy !!!
Amazing how the lack of an apostrophe and a letter or two can totally change the meaning of a sentence.....

I have one of those silly little garages that were built for micro-cars, I can get my car into the garage, but I have no way of opening the door to get out of the car (Mercedes CLS), so the car stays outside and the garage is home to the pushbikes, the motorbike and a load of fishing gear

That sounds like fighting talk to me!

Wifes car and the work pickup on the driveway. We have a partially intergral garage and my wife had wanted to turn it into another room at one point. Not happening - thats where my Alfa Spider goes, with a dustcover on it. The current Spider fits better than the last one, but then its pushing 30 years old so isn't as wide. Makes it easier to get into it but its still a bit tight. With both of them I had to check lengths to make sure the door would shut with them in. It is nuisance having to shift one of the other cars to get it out, but I can live with it.
I've read most new builds have garages you can't get a car in, but nobody ever actually checks when they are buying a house.

My old soft top kit car used to fit in the garage, but I didn't need to open a door to get out.
Don't think the current car would go in...
