I have an 11 speed shimano 105 groupset and currently run a KMC X11EL chain.

Can I replace this with a Shimano CN-HG701-11 speed XT integra 116 chain?

Yes - it's the same chain as for Ultegra 6800.

However, personally I prefer the KMC chains as they seem to last longer.

Provided it is of the correct length, or has sufficient links to enable it to be mafe the correct length, then yes.

You will need to cut the chain to the correct length for your set up
