I have a cannondale bb30 carbon frame with a gpxi crank. My problem is it had spd pedals which I tried to remove today. One came off fine the other seems stuck in the arm and looks to have damaged the thread on the pedal arm. If I can drill the pedal out is the thread on the arm repairable ? I don't really want to be buying a new crankset.

Thanks
Mike.

Yes, local engineering works or similar should be able to tap and helicoil the arm.

The universal specs for thread/size are here http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Bicycle_pedal

Ok thanks, I will try the remove the pedal from the arm and take it to a few palaces and see what can be done.
