I am trying to change my Shimano 105 based 11-32t to a SRAM 11-36t for hill climbing. There are many threads all over the net about doing this. However I have found a bit of an issue with the thickness of the cassette, which no one seems to have mentioned any where (which makes me think I am doing something wrong). The SRAM 11sp is slightly wider than the Shimano, and this means I can not get the locking nut on the spindle.
I can only imagine that either 1)I need to buy a wider hub and re-spoke the wheel, 2) find slightly narrower sprocket spacers, or sand down a fraction of mm off the included spacers.

Any suggestions gratefully received!
