You say you want performance, don’t quite know what you mean but if it means going faster you should be fine with a double something like 50/34. If you want an extra low gear you could put a 12/34 on the back.
If saving weight is important get a Hollowtech crankset instead of a square taper.
Performance and ride quality will be governed more by your wheel/tyre choice.

You're in MTB/commuter territory with 26" wheels & tyres so you might not find much narrower than 1.75" so it'll be comfort rather than speed.

Personally I prefer the look of a crankset without a trouser guard... Though they can be handy if you don't want to tuck your trousers into your socks all the time!

Out of curiosity I once weighed a Campy Nouvo Record, an Avocet, a Sugino RD, a couple of cheap 130 BCD cranks and a one piece Brompton crank set. The only real weight variation was the Brompton which was a lot lighter. I would hope the first 3 would differ from the cheap ones in their strength and the toughness of the threads and square taper surfaces. I like your bike plain white. Simple and elegant. Just sayin.
