Prove Its Yours

I live in a free society, I neither have to prove who I am nor what I own in my day to day business.

That would be, and has been, my response to police and those who see themselves in positions of authority.

Ah excellent, thanks for letting me know. The next time I stop Billy Burglar carrying a couple of laptops, ipads and a mobile down the street in a pillowcase I'll remember that and be sure to apologise and let him be on his way.

There's a balance to be struck somewhere methinks.

Where is this place of which you speak? It's not anywhere in the UK, despite what they want us to believe.
I am actually glad that we DON'T live in a truly free society; I think it's called anarchy.

If you define freedom the way most people do, you'd not suggest anarchy as being free.

...You don't like our free society, and think our freedoms limit your powers of arrest unduly?

That's worrying.

I suppose I could ask the policeman to ring up Spa Cycles and ask them if Mr slowmotion bought the bike from them. I'm not sure how I could prove how I am Mr slowmotion so I would probably end up in the cells.
