I must say that bike is looking pretty good now  Nice job that man
The refurb is part educational.

I'm learning to fix up bikes and bikes like this are a good learning tool.

It would have cost £25 to fix up plus a few bits I already had knocking about, but another £25 went on a new rear wheel and cassette.

Total was therefore £75 including the initial purchase price.

It's probably too good for a pub bike now as everything has been serviced and set up correctly, probably in better condition than when it left Halfords. I've even fitted mudguards and cheap lights that I had spare.

My brother is after a bike, he knows nothing about bikes so will sell to him probably.

Wouldn't you just give the bike to him for free?
