Here for rides.
Every where I go it seems I pass eatery menu's extolling the virtues of the establishments pulled pork.

What next from the Deep South? Grits? Corn Bread?

America doesn't have cuisine it has food. Do we really need to eat it in the UK?

Yes we do need want to eat it. It's very tasty.

Really strange co-incidence in that I just opened an email on my phone from a local pub stating that they have a new special...pulled pork burger! Might be a goer!

When it is properly cooked and served it is food of the Gods.
Bodeans come close to making decent pulled pork, but nowhere near anywhere as good as a half decent place in the US.

America may not have cuisine, but it does do food very, very well.

an American restaurant near me has a banner on the side of there building showing a hugh pulled pork burger.

Looks like its dripping in fat & would send your cholesterol threw the roof but my god it looks tasty!

everytime I pass the building I want one for my dinner. ( the burger not the building)

I watched a recorded episode of 'Veep' last night... you would never regard 'Pulled Pork' as an attractive proposition again. (For those who don't pay for the 'privilege' of Sky TV it's an American sit com written by Armando Iannucci, in the vein of 'The Thick of It' and this particular scene was also about IVF...)

Simple choice, choose not to eat it, although as said done correctly you will be missing out.

If you can get over the pronounciation of "fillet", the spelling of "grille" and the concept of an "entree" as a main course, then American food is great. Agree about the cheese though.
