Does anyone know of a the smallest pump I could take on the bike to get me up to 120 psi or there abouts?
I've got a mini pump which will get me home but not confidant with it on long rides.
I want to save a bit of space and ditch the co2 and inflator.

You would only be using the pump if you had a puncture so it surely wouldn't be a big problem if it didn't do 120 psi? You could get home quite happily on 80+ psi. Lots of us only use 85-100 psi anyway.

I use a Halfords clone of a Topeak mini-morph. The mini-morph will definitely be able to get your tyres to 100 psi, maybe more. (They claim 160 psi but I doubt that it would get close to that without busting a gut.)

Thanks Colin,
I've had loads of problems in the past with pinch flats and anything less than 120 in the back tyre I'm not so confident.
I probably get 80psi at the moment which usually gets me home but I'd feel like abandoning a long ride.
I suppose if I could get to 110 psi it would be OK.

I know but I'm going for a smaller saddle bag and no carrying stuff in pockets

You can get pumps that attach to the frame that also carry c02

I have one of these and they get the tyre up to a very good high pressure. What is good about them is that they have a hose, so no wrenching at the the valve as with non hose pumps.

Looks good might be worth a look.
I'm going to have a good go withine and see what it will actually reach.
