So I was pootling around off road just now (i pootle, I don't race) and my watts were about 60 which I'm used to but trainer tyre seemed sluggish. So I pumped it up to 100 psi and power shot up to over 100 watts. Also I seemed to be a bit faster.I
I still don't get the power/watts thing but I'm aiming to get on the trainer about 5 times a week.
Anyway, waffling on, how often to pump the tyre up? I've only done it twice in 3 months ....

Thanks for that! Bike seems happier and I'm going further faster, though still stationary, but I know what I mean!
I'm doing more inclines, can't call them hills, and it's not hurting as much.
Will be checking that tyre regularly ... must look at cars' too!
