Just call me Chris...
In a ped' incident.

My step daughter came up to visit with her two young sons (one in a pushchair.)
They only live just over a mile away so we walked them home (Wife, myself and my Nine year old.)

Anyway, were crossing a busy road on a roundabout exit slip so were crossing in a line with myself nearest any approaching traffic to "shield" my family.

Were nearly all the way across when an approaching driver decides to express his displeasure at a mere bunch of peds on his road by leaning on his horn and swerving at me.

Sorry to say I lost the plot instantly and sprinted after him, screaming in rage for him to stop and sunk my fist into the boot of his shiny Beemer.
He didn't take me up on my offer to discuss his actions and sped off.

I guess there are some advantages to being 6' and 17stone....

;)Hope you didn't injure your fist.

Had something similar a few years ago.

Me, my younger bro, my dad and bro 'in-law' walking back to Manchester after the Super league final (All buses stopped etc. for the pedestrian traffic).......

My Dad was 64 at the time and has dodgy knees, bro in law had a totally knackered hip (he had a new one fitted a year later - mid 30's).

So ped crossing on green, two of the 4 hobbling over 4 lanes of traffic.... lights change and we are still in the last lane crossing....... I'm last and just put my hand up.... Some ar$e starts revving and going for it, I just shout "Oi slow down"...... Anyway...Mr Hardman starts giving verbals etc....

You then hear his 'missus' saying 'FFS they are only trying to cross the road'.......he screams off, we wave and he's still at the verbals....... bet he had a right 'telling off' from the 'better' half.....

Don't blame you mate, hope you put a dent in the boot.

I got attacked by a driver and knocked off the bike + he drove at me when I got up and went over to ask what was he doing - he b*gg*red up my ankle. Went to court - long story.

So watch it there are some real nutters out there. Some folks used to wear diamond rings - they scratch very well

Thanks all, I wished I hadn't done it afterwards.
Trouble is, assault on the family, heat of the moment and all that.
I really must learn to calm down....

I'm sure a certain somebody is going to post a reply along the lines of "Two wrongs don't make a right, what makes it OK to do criminal damage to someone's property?blah blah blah..."
The thing is, anyone abusing the PRIVILEGE (not right) to drive in such a manner should expect some kind of "instant justice" of this kind. I mean, how do they expect someone to react when a ton of metal is purposely swerved in their direction?
Next time kick the car, don't punch; it hurts less.

Hope you washed your hands afterwards...

as someone says, two wrongs don't make a right

not condonable actions but understandable.

I've kicked a car's front bumper because it came onto the zebra crossing while I was still on it, a passing police officer pointed out I'd done it to protect myself from ending up under the car.

I've also sat on someone's car, didn't think they would stop in time so I turned ready to flop backwards onto their bonnet, just ended up sat on a carbon fiber bonnet, leaving a crack in it cos they didn't stop quite in time.

Any other criminal confessions to be made? Any drug dealing, or woundings we want to get out off our chests, or are we stopping at criminal damage?

No one should expect any damage done to their property full stop. If you are so keen in dispensing justice, become a constable, prosecuting solicitor or a judge. If you want to dispense with justice join an anarchist group.
