I'm very particular about this. It has to be the maker's name. Not the tyre type or some other text. And it has to be central. So far this has always been unambiguous

You still have to remember which side of the tyre you're using though.

And it only hurts if you trap your fingers in between the bricks.

But it doesn't half take your breath away!

I have doubled up in the department of redundancy department.

To Fredo's minimal flat kit (sealant and never-actually-used CO2), I have added a pump, a spare bottle of new sealant, some stick-on patches, and a TPU tube. Now I'll need levers, too, I suppose. Before long, I'll be bringing my Swiss Army knife!

The nasty goat head thorns are the worst. They break off leaving just the tiny thorn in the tire. I carry a very sharp knife to scrap the thorn out when I find it.

I run tubeless and carry co2, a patch, bit of sand paper, couple of valve core, tyre lever, a kit thing for plugging tubeless, a set a latex inner tube 😀
.....because my first ride with tubeless I didn't and got puncture that didn't seal, had to get lift home
...and to avoid the faff of changing tubes anywhere that's not my garage

But the comfier ride from 30mm at 60-65psi is best aspect
