Putting your nuts in a jar .

I've had some walnuts in a sealed jar for a few months and realising i have run out of my favorite snack bars for todays ride i thought i could take some of these walnuts . Do or can nuts go off

I found a walnut in a plastic opened gravel bag down the garden,it had sprouted..
I guess a squirrel hid it.
I took it to work and planted it in the new fish pond area ,its got its own little flower garden surrounding it.
Its growing a treat.

Yes, they go stale, then rancid, eventually moldy.

I ate some peanuts of unknown age and had diarrea until I took some kaolin and morphine.

I ended up stopping for cake and buying some peanut bars for 70p each
The last thing i want is rancid nuts in my mouth !
