QR hub can be made non-QR, yes?

I'd like to convert a wheel from QR hubs to take a solid axle. This is basically just a matter of replacing the axle/cones, yes?

Make sure that you get the correct diameter of axle as I have run into obstacles doing the opposite operation.

My recollection is that solid axles are often smaller diameter.
