Quad lock on a tapering handlebar

Any wisdom about how to secure my quad lock holder on my MTB handlebars? They taper, getting narrower towards the end. This makes it almost impossible to stop the quad lock holder getting loose and spinning round!

I have varying thicknesses of hard rubber strips that fit in between the bar and the lock. You just need to pick a spot you are happy with and pack it out to let you get a proper fixing.

I read this: and had this exact first thought. I don’t know what a quad-lock is - I even Googled it - so didn’t comment at first.! But yes…..presuming it’s some sort of clamp on device….just make some ‘rubber shims’ to take up the difference of where you’d like to fix it on: as above…….
