Mounting a Carradice Barley Saddlebag on a seat without saddle loops

I use the Bagman QR rack and the Bagman Support Struts. The struts help stabilise and support the load especially with my bag which hold loads (Lowsaddle Longflap). With a Barley you probably won't need the struts.

The quick-release works very well. If you want to take the bag with you when you're off the bike, straps can be a faff.

It's very useful if you use a shoulder strap on the bag, can just unclip it and sling it over the shoulder.

Mine did fail at one point but Carradice were very good and sent some new parts out straight away.

Same. Before I bought the struts the supporting bolt snapped under heavy load, Carradice sent me 2 free to replace it.
