Any users of Quidco on here ?

Calling @vickster

I am a member of Quidco & have just registered a card to use for a 10% Cashback offer on in store purchases at Halfords.

My problem is this, the offer now shows as active but no code pops up or can be seen.

I plan to use the offer in conjunction with the 15% off all Boardman bikes & my 10% British Cycling discount, to bag a massive discount off a bike.

There doesn't seem to be any instructions as to how to claim the 10% cashback & the Halfords offer ends soon.

Anyone got any ideas ?

I have messaged Quidco but this might take a day or two to get answered.

Help please.

I don't know, I've never used the in store cashback thing as I didn't want to register bank cards online

Normally, you open the Halfords quidco page, click on the applicable link to take you to the Halfords page - order for click and collect, hand over your BC card for the in store discount and Bob's your mother's brother - a few months down the line, if all approved, you get the cashback in your quidco account paid into your bank account...

have you read the Ts & Cs?

Then if you want BC discount, you'll need to just do the normal thing for 3% or whatever it is, plus the 15% and 10% (no quidco on the VAT so would be on 80% of the price after discounted by 15%)...and then you get the 10% off the price less the 15% not the full price

Sooo...on an £800 bike say, I think it would be
£800x0.85% = 680
Then the 10% off with BC in store = £680 x 0.90 = £612 to pay
Then in the future, you get the 3% cashback, so
£680 x 0.8 (taking off the VAT) (£544) x 0.03 = £16.32 or thereabouts

Sooo in total the bike costs you just under £600, so a £200 saving not too shabby

You cannot get BC on online payments, but you'd get the 10% BUT only off the pre-VAT part of £612 and you won't get the 3%, so BC works out better

For in store purchases you just register your credit card on Quidco -Activate the particular store, then just use the card in the store. As if by magic the tracking will eventually work and get credited to your Quidco account..

With quidco, you go to their site.

Click through the links to the store, then purchase via that click through.

It can take up to 3 months for the cashback to come through though.
I have been using Quidco for a good while now Phil, it was vickster that put me on to them.
It just seems that this particular offer is quite difficult to work, being not very straight forward at all.
We will see how it goes over next couple of days.

Yeah, I just realised that my post wasn't answering what you was asking so I removed it
