A true British/English gentleman. Even though he was living on borrowed time it's still sad that he's died.

Roger Moore was 'my' James Bond. I used my pocket money (saved up for the occasion) to go to see The Spy Who Loved Me and I got a half price return stamp on my ticket so I was able to go and see it again during the 3 weeks or so that it was at our cinema.

I always thought that he seemed the perfect gentleman. He had such class.
RIP Roger.

Watching him over the weekend with that other great - Christopher Lee in the man with the golden gun. Goodnight! Goodnight! "She's just coming sir "no idea what that meant when i was a nipper. "Goodnight sir" Brilliantly delivered.

He certainly had a sense of humour. He was on the telly accepting some award on some Roger Moore tribute show. He said something like, "I never won a BAFTA, which I was very upset about, especially as I'd learnt three new facial expressions for the occasion."

Post of the month.
Agreed :okay:

It was sad to hear of his death on the news tonight. I can vaguely remember him from the sixties series Ivanhoe, but it was as Simon Templar in the Saint driving around in his white Volvo 1800 which kept me and my family glued to the TV on Sunday evenings. He always seemed to have a light hearted approach to the way he acted which he continued in the Persuaders series which I also enjoyed.
A fun actor who will be sadly missed.
