I haven't listened since Moyles left, some days I found him annoying but generally amusing. New chap is crap, tried listening a few times but just can't. Not ready for Radio 2, Evans is ok but I'm not ready to listen to my parent's music just yet. Need a Radio 1.5..

I know its not aimed at someone my age (55)...but Jesus H Christ, what an utter pile of drivelling, jeuvenile, childish crud those presenters are in the afternoon.
They sound like grown men acting like giggling kids in the schoolyard, giggling over and over and over at the same thing.
Dont know who, dont know what show, but if theyre role models for kids...gawld help us all.
sorry, rant over.

Not sure what's worse - Radio 1 DJs shagging kids or acting like them. I don't particularly want to listen to either.

I flip between Radio 2 and 4 depending on what day/time of the week it is.
I loath Evans, so he's out in the mornings. I quite enjoy Ken Bruce, and I can tolerate Vine just to laugh at the numptys who phone up.
Steve Wright stopped being funny and started to be annoying when his job title changed from DJ to Chief Sycophant somewhere around 25 years ago.
Simon Mayo's ok, and I like Jo Whiley.

Best DJs on R2 are Janice Long and Alex Lester, but nobody hears their shows because Janice is on 00.00 'till 02.00 and Alex 02.00 'till 04.00. Or 05.00, I forget...

Radio 2 for me. Like to listen to a good rant on Jeremy Vine and see if I can get any question right on Pop Master^_^. Radio 1 went juvenile years ago when they sacked a lot of people and brought in a focus group for the 15-25 year old band ie. boy/girl band age or the market demographic that Simon Cowell aims his s*ite at.

One of the girls had Radio 1 on in the mornings at work. I have never heard so much crap in my life, it seems to be aimed at teenagers. We all sit there and nobody laughs but everybody moans about the DJ, Nick Grimshaw, and his little group of yes men/women. We have now told the girl at work that's its a change of station or silence.
