Seemed quite a well balanced debate for the most part, although had to laugh at the guy at the end (last 5 mins.) classic explanation of how he left hooked a cyclist...quote: "twice I've nearly had a cyclist off...I've indicated to go left after I've gone past a cyclist 200 yards before, the cyclist is hammering along at 30mph not looking where they're going, last time the guy had to break and jump on the kerb to avoid hitting me as I turned left in front of them..." Amazing, he just didn't get it, seemed to be the cyclists fault for going 30mph, not his fault for overtaking the cyclist, then indicating breaking and turning left across him. Sound familiar to anyone? 'Er...but I overtook you a whole 5 seconds ago, which means you should have disappeared from existence by now!?? Wish the CTC guy had been more eloquent and picked up on the fact the driver seemed to be explaining a classic left hook, the CTC guy just kept going on about looking in wing mirrors...

I couldnt believe that last call either, that was just typical of a typical WVM, now dont the BBC just get on your wick by picking the callers that are going to create aggrivation to other listeners, The Nicky Campbell radio phone in is the same as Jeremy Kyle on tv but for the middle classes, switched off about a year ago and have never gone back, lifes too short for hearing whinging people on the phone, too busy out on my bike enjoying the sunshine

I tuned in and sent a of replies and info to the radio station as "things" were mentioned. Ended up with 5Live subscribing to me on twitter

I think a couple of the others like Mark (BassjunkieUK) and Gaz have been "followed" by them on twitter too.

As for WVM, most are ok down this way, but that guy was a p****. He got called on the lefthook and wouldn't have it. Any cyclists on that road he mentioned (was it the A3?) - perhaps get cam'd up, LOL! The cabbie was no better. In their mind we're all in the same little freemasonry.
