Ob showoffery - I always thought Tom Yorke was a bit of a tosser. The Greenwood brothers, particularly Jonathan, were very polite and pleasant, and Jonathan was very impressive in being willing to put in the hard hours to learn a new instrument properly at the age when most teenagers were more interested in girls. He also had the humility and self-awareness to play in the junior school orchestra as one of the oldest members.

I was gobsmacked when I realised they were becoming famous, and being a musical old fart have never understood why.
