Rainig this morninig in Hampshire. I think this is the first rain we have had of any note since about the last day or two of August. So my 2 week old summer bike will probably be replaced by his winter cousin....

It's been really dry, I haven't needed to clean any of my bikes in over six weeks, and that includes the 'cross bike.

The more or less* two month long dry spell down here in Kent broke today. I got proper wet on the way to work for the first time since about June.

* we had quite a bit one day a few weeks ago, but it missed me on the journey to and from work so doesn't count.

With apologies to the parts of the UK (most of it North of London I think) that's had lots of rain this year.

Im stuck in looking after my daughter and doing the housework. The weather makes it that much more bareable
