I look amazing in Rainlegs.

Especially when I went to dismount and one of the straps snagged on my saddle. Gravity took over from there. Oh did the peanut gallery roar. I hate them for that.

Especially when wearing them as a standalone garment.

Wear just those and you would certainly stand alone.

A feature of RainLegs is they can be deployed standing up - handy if it starts raining during a ride, doubly handy if you have arthritic hips which makes trying to put on over trousers standing up difficult.

My over trousers also won't go on while I'm wearing shoes, so trying to put them on beside the road is a recipe for a tumble onto the verge.

Rainlegs are a clever piece of kit. You can wear them rolled up around the waist where they are unnoticeable, when it starts to rain you just unroll them. They are also very good in the cold as they keep the big leg muscles warm. The yellow ones, with which I am unfortunately afflicted, are a bit lairy but the black ones are more sensible. About twenty five quid Inc postage I think.
