Raleigh Chopper vs Mont Ventoux

I waved hello to this guy this morning (he did not wave back sadly!) on my commute into work today/

He was riding his Raleigh Chopper, and lives near me - he just finished an amazing charity ride.

I don't know the guy, but I think the bike is cool, the challenge is great and put together it is pretty funny.

You look and feel a prize plum wearing bibs on a Chopper. I speak from experience.

I know that, the one time I had a go on one in the 70s I went over the handlebars, fortunately it was right outside of a hospital!

Looking back people always remember the Chopper , but i have always thought the Raleigh Grifter was the real hero of the times,So Matt how do you fancy going back up on another 70's /80's icon
