Have £500 to spend on a Hybrid bike, thought Raleigh Strada 3 or Pinnacle Cobalt 2 were good options, haven't owned a new bike for 15 years but want to start again, struggling with choice, recommendations would be appreciated.

I'd say you don't need the suspension forks so looks like a win for the Raleigh, which may your only option as the Cobalt 2 is showing discontinued on Evans site.
