Just started resto on my 80's Super Record. Took axle out of front hub and there were no bearings. Nice, must be high tech or plain stupidity. Anyway, I'm looking for the bearing size for this hub. I'm guessing 5/32.

? 7/32 X 9 Campag nuovo record copy . Could have been 3/16 X 10 I'll have to have a brain rummage lol .

Great hubs by the way

Raleigh sourced quite a bit from Jap firms including from Suzue, which is stamped on the race cover

Yes I see that stamp. I will put some 5/32 bearings and check the spin before I go any further.

I got this Raleigh off EBay for 90.00 from California. I rode this daily in the early 80's (Mine was burgundy and it wasnt cheap back then. )

For the most part they are pretty tolerant of slightly different ball sizes :. My first "best" sprints / tubs were Suzue large flange with Fiamme rims in about 1976..... I've still got them  .the rims and hubs will outlive a tardigrade lol .

See how many fit when all touch and take one out. Suzue cones could be used in Campag Tipo so that would suggest 3/16 or 6/32
