The price is almost as hefty as it's weight. A novelty bike, with little practical use. Those wanting the nostalgia hit, would likely already own an original.

Cashing in on nostalgia. I'm surprised that like the trend in nostalgia themed cars like the Mini, VW Beetle and Fiat 500 that it isn't at least 4 times bigger than the original and weighs at least 4 times as much!

Months of R&D, pardon ? Much as I like the Chopper (I had a black one) they are too small for Adults to ride, and they just don't handle well.

£950 is considerably cheaper than original MkIIs are going for.

I suspest the 'backwards compatibility' will result in buyers fitting higher/original/remade sissy bars, as that seems the most obvious visible difference.

I got a bit fed up with the 'Chopper community' so sold my MkII in the tail end of the pandemic bike boom - it was bought as a 60th birthday present for someone extremely famous' dad!

I had one as a teen. I loved that bike until I fell off going too fast downhill, once that front wheel started wobbling you were on borrowed time. I didn't get back on a bike for over 35 years
