Rampant Rabbit

My rabbit's gone bonkers. He had his nails clipped and had his Mxyomatosis jab. He was a sweet lovely rabbit this morning.

Now he is a swaggering, humping, biting, sex machine.

Not quite what I was expecting, if I'm honest.

The sooner his balls are removed, the better.:evil::biggrin:

Not sure if cutting one's nails leads to rampant humping tendencies....but I'm off to get the nail scissors for me and Mrs Noodley just in case.

Nah, rabbits happily stay out in freezing weather. Our will sit in the snow all day.

We've just come to the conclusion that Jelly Bean will need to be neutered. We've had him since May and he's been converted to a house rabbit for a few weeks now. We thought he'd calmed down, still crazy, but no nipping or biting. Then this last week he's escalated, downright stroppy and demanding bunny at times. He's also peed, other than his litter tray, 3 times in the last week, he hasn't done that since he was really young, bit of turf marking going on. My album with some updated JB pics:biggrin::-

Had his first taste of snow today, with a heated towel waiting for his little paws when he came in:ohmy:

You brought him when it started getting cold, didn't you? Let me guess...the kids badgered you and you felt sorry for the bunny outside on his own. Am I right?

Mine only got to come in because it's so cold, and he's an only bunny. As soon as it gets back above freezing again (-4 tonight), he's back out.

Cant you just Gag him?

No I can't, you sick person!

Whist you might believe that to be the answer to most problems in life, it doesn't work on rabbits.:evil:

Anyway, I've been advised to give him a teddy to hump until he's "done" , so am hoping he can take his frustrations out on that, instead of me and my daughter. Poor poor teddy...

it's -3 here right now and ours are padding about in the snow as usual. I've seen them sitting out in -6. They've got the choice, they could go into a hutch or the burrow if they like, but they stay out.

You really don't need to worry about rabbits getting cold, they're built for it. I would say you need to be more careful in warm weather. On a really hot day they need somewhere cooler to retreat to, they've got fur coats on!
