You brought him when it started getting cold, didn't you? Let me guess...the kids badgered you and you felt sorry for the bunny outside on his own. Am I right?

Mine only got to come in because it's so cold, and he's an only bunny. As soon as it gets back above freezing again (-4 tonight), he's back out.

Nope, it was Jane that wanted him inside so I ended up building the bunny condo. He lives in the lounge now and gets out inside a fair bit, we also have his external run set up in part of the garage. Jane is now making noises about him needing a buddy so, if it's a girl, neutering is a must. Still it's removed the demands for one of those little toy dogs, which is a relief:biggrin: Plan for the Spring is to build a much bigger external run with the outdoor hutch inside it. So that he/they can be left outside all day and just come in at night. We are talking one seriously spoiled bunny here:ohmy:

I would never keep a solitary rabbit, they need company. If you've got a male you could get another male or a female. The females are the dominant ones and far more likely to fight.

Rabbits are very territorial though so if you get a new rabbit there will almost certainly be some agro to begin with. As long as they don't rip the ears off each other don't worry, it'll soon settle down.

I thought this was going to be about a battery operated 'device', and was pleased to see it is actually about physically maiming a male rabbit's genitalia.

+1 I was half expecting a post reminding me to send you that present I promised!:ohmy:

So true. Didn't know that when I got the poor thing from the idiot "breeder" who sold him to me. (This cretin had allowed two rabbits who should never have bred together, get together and produce 8 babies...xx(:tongue::evil: and he couldnt let the females go because he couldn't be sure they weren't already pregnant, ffs! My thinking was that being a bit lonely might be a better deal for my bunny than staying with that idiot.)

My plan is to get him done after Christmas, and then when he's over that, to get him bonded to a spayed rescue doe.:wub:And hopefully live happily ever after.
