Mine only got to come in because it's so cold, and he's an only bunny. As soon as it gets back above freezing again (-4 tonight), he's back out.
Plan for the Spring is to build a much bigger external run with the outdoor hutch inside it. So that he/they can be left outside all day and just come in at night. We are talking one seriously spoiled bunny here
