Rangers Liquidation

I have just checked on the last squad when Scotland last qualified for a World Cup in 1990.
There were 3 Rangers players, and 1 Celtic player.
3 from Aberdeen, 2 each from Hibs and Hearts, 1 from Dundee Utd...
8 playing in England, 2 playing in Germany,

So the argument that we need a strong Rangers or Celtic seems a bit naff.

And in 1986 there was:
1 from Rangers and 2 from Celtic.
5 from Dundee Utd. and 4 from Aberdeen.
1 from Hibs.
7 playing in England, and 1 each in Spain and Italy.

So all our players should be playing England? no lower league Scotland

1982:
a big fat fúck all from Rangers, and 1 from Celtic.
4 from Aberdeen. 2 from Dundee Utd.
1 from Partick Thistle.
12 playing in England and 1 in Italy.

I think "a strong Rangers and Celtic" has been disproved.

How so?
Week after week there are busloads of people go to Glasgow to watch Rangers and Celtic from towns across Scotland. If they invested in their local teams then the crowds would be larger, the investment would be larger and the spread of money more equitable?
Or are you harking back to the usual Rangers position of "we deserve"?
if's, but's and maybe's ....you don't know that

I think your claim was something around the lack of international being related to the "písh" domestic league.
Which I think I have proved is a load of bollócks.
well our pish domestic league hasn't done aswell as the technically better English league...

I do know that busloads leave towns. And that is all money leaving local teams.
how? the teams the old firm are playing is making money out us, if its wasn't for rangers and celtic we would have no scottish football, folk need to remember that.

And in 1978 it was 3 Rangers, 3 Aberdeen, 1 Partick, and 15 English.

Whatever you were originally trying to make a point about has been disproved. ;)

And waffling now about "technically better" leagues does not disprove that lower league and Junior football is still a legitimate form of football which is an essential part of the lives of the majority.

And there is the evidence that you have learned nothing. You are deluded. Rangers will be no loss when they go. And I really do think they will disappear despite the efforts of the SFA and media to put forward the "Scottish football needs Rangers" myth.

again the Rangers will never die

They may be given a reprieve as they have influence, but it will only be a matter of time before the majority voice is heard.

Your team is loathed by the majority.

Your "loyal" support only lasts when there are good times as can be seen by the dropping attendance. The majority of the "away" fans are the scum loyalists (and I think even you would acknowledge that) and they have been a disgrace.
