Ah, I must have missed it previously. Clearly I'm a part-time obsessive.

Incidentally, what did you think of Paul Murray yesterday? Toppling Celtic within 2 years, Champions League, rightful place etc etc. Were you one of those lapping it up or did a small bit of you not think "Haud on a minute, we've been here before"?

I was too busy admiring his hairdo to hear anything he said

Heard about that. Gale force winds and not a hair quivered, apparently

I was speaking to the son of an ex-Rangers player this afternoon who reckons the troubles at the club run so deep it'll take ten years to get them back at the top. The stadium itself is needing a lot of money spent on it apparently.

I read an article along similar lines. Do the stadium issues not stem from the front being grade listed so it's more expensive to work on? Or have I just dreamed that up?

SDM said it would of been cheaper demolishing and building new than the last time it was done up so will be in same boat this time .

That doesn't surprise me. The same is true at Fortress RP, which is slowly rusting into the ground.

On the plus side the RST now has 13000 members currently and forecast 15000 by end of season who will be contributing just shy of £2million a year , initially buying up shares but this might change to funding the team or construction work on Ibrox .

Buying up shares only gives money to the selling/leaving shareholder.

So is that £2m donation just that, a pure donation and nothing to do with shares?

15000 fans will be paying a minimum £10 a month , they are currently buying shares with the money but there is talk of using it for running the club , to fund Murray park or renovate Ibrox has been mentioned , I would think they would want guarantees over either Ibrox or Murray park before the money would be used so would be an investment by the fans not a donation.
