The breakfast of our grand tour diet has passed. A day later, how's the after effects for yourself?

Think I'm being generous with a six. The GC was a dud, the points competition came to a shuddering halt as did Narvaez did at the bus stop and the KoM basically went to the only person who put their hand up and said: I'll look after it, like the kid who put his hand up to look after the class hamster without checking to see whether his family were heading (Gee) west for the summer.

I got lucky with the one stage I watched all of in the Dolomites and there were a few memorable stages like the comedy one where Eulalio took pink.

What next for the Giro? If Remco offers to come round to be next year's only game in town, please say no: I'd rather have 3 weeks of 2.pro action than this.

A few entertaining stages but basically no jeopardy for any of the jerseys

It was never 'must watch' for me, unfortunately. Some entertainment from a few stages. Jonas' win was never in any doubt and the podium battle wasn't that enthralling. Shame the early crash took out a couple of podium possibilities.
I suspect with Jonas doing the Giro, the Tour will now be a bit the same, with Pog assuming and taking the win.

Two big crashes in the first 2 stages and the knock on of abandonments didn't help things. The podium battle may have been more exciting with the two UAE GC contenders in there.

The best stage for excitement & drama as well as a bit of farce was Eulalio's win.

Unibet Rose Rockets kit was very funky

Lefty tighty. Get it righty.
Eulalio basically rescued the race for me Without having him to shout for as he didn't (as some predicted) plummet out of sight, and as he did defend white it would have been a bit tiresome

The Magnier/Narvaez tussle kept the ciclameno interesting until fairly near the end

I'll go 7 cos I'm easily pleased.

(1) Sadly my dad passed on the 16th so that killed my enthusiasm for the race tbh.

Maybe I'll get into the tour or perhaps I'll have a year off pro cycling in memory of him??

My condolences to you. A light hearted memory of my Dad to lighten the mood?
After coming home from a 25 mile training cycle in the 80s he asked "Why don't you enter that Tour de France?" He was serious. 😂😂😂

I thought the GC suffered this way too

All the best . Self care etc. most parents would want there sons and daughters to get on with life after a reasonable mourning period . Mine did
