I think accy needs to look at the continual need to keep chopping and changing cars every 5 mins , i know some have had issues but is there a deeper issue ?

TBH, he hasn't. His 500 has developed an in-built swimming pool, and other issues are going to cost a bit. He's been looking a while whilst being a bit coy about his existing car becoming a submarine !

in this case but he does seem to be always looking at cars , hey maybe im wrong and thats fine but just seems to be a regular occurrence .

Phew, after months maybe even years of 'what car' deliberating I finally bought the Vauxhall 1.4i Adam to replace my beloved Fiat 500 cabriolet! I know you all think I should be driving a 1930s Austin Healey or similar, but in reality my needs require a small, reliable city type car.😉 I collected my new to me car two days ago. As with all cars you get to know how they handle after doing a few miles in them, then doing more the following day, then more the following day and so on and so on. Yesterday I did a 20 mile run in it, which is a lot for me. So far I like it, which is good as It's too late to change it for another.😉 I'd like to say that on acceleration it's something I'm not used to and quite fun! I tried that Abarth out last November and it didn't seem much more 'powerful' than my Fiat 500, but this certainly does! I did think about leasing a Fiat Abarth electric version on the Mobility scheme I'm now entitled to, but someone told me they cost £30,000 to buy, and they don't make an Abarth rumbling engine sound, more a souped up milk float sound being electrically run.👎 Do I want a 30 grand car on a lease scheme that I'd only do about 2,000 miles a year in and sounds like a milk float!!

I've only owned two Vauxhalls in my 48 years this approaching November years of driving. One being this one, and the previous one which was a 1969 1.1 Vauxhall Viva in what I'd describe as peppermint green in colour. I bought if off my brother in 1983 for £150. It was so underpowered that even slight hills meant dropping down to third gear, after approaching them at a fair speed. The seat belts weren't inertiad and it eventually rusted to oblivion!

I've owned my first in the last year, but whether it's a Vauxhall is questionable as it's also a Toyota, Citroen, Peugeot and Fiat van. It's great though, and the VX model is the best equipped. I did have a Vectra 2.5 V6 SRI for a year as a company car - that was a hoot to drive, although my van can could outrun it !
