Itching to get back on my bike's
Location
Northamptonshire
How some folk can keep the same car for many, many years, even decades is beyond me. Unless they bought it from new and want to drive it throughout its entire life, or it's a classic car they only take out on certain days.

When I first started driving I was changing cars more often than my socks 😁

Current cars has been owned for over 5 years and hopefully it will last a few more years yet as the thought of changing cars now just doesn't appeal to me.

Open top cars always look attractive on warm, sunny days, but no

My first Landie was a 2A Light-Weight, in summer, the 'van body' (aka 'hard-top') came off it, & I drove it with just the windscreen
Other than that, it was a dire piece of junk that almost put me off them, but........ the next was a rocketship, in comparison, a 300Tdi, in a 110 Hard-Top*

My previous car was an Octavia estate, I owned it for over 9 years, & about 160,000miles (March 2012 - May 2021)
I've owned my present vehicle, a Kodiaq, since May 2021

* the salesman took me out in it, he drove out
It was Copley Motors, on the road into Sowerby Bridge
He took me up the 'autobahn'; the road from Halifax up to Ainley Top (jct 24/M62)
This was back in 1997, so before speed cameras, it crested at 70MPH (my light-weight struggled to make 35 by the top!)
