Actually, do.
I had forgotten it, but you have just reminded me!

I was 10 years old when that was released. I went with my best pal Graham to watch it. We loved it so much we stayed in our seats at the cinema and watched it again!

I was thirteen, and I fell head over heels in love with Jill Curzon who played one of the Dr's crewmates. She featured in an advert for Nimble bread at the time and just up the road from me, on the back of the bakers was a huge billboard with the lovely lady dressed in a bikini. God knows how many times I walked slowly past it and I was broken hearted when they replaced it.

The film was on TV a few weeks ago and it brought back happy memories.

By odd co-incidence, I had that playing on telly the other day in the background whilst re-organising the lounge. Its one of the two movie adaptations of the BBC TV stories. I remember seeing it for the umpteenth time when it clicked that Andrew Keir is in it, I remember him doing Quatermass & The Pit. I seem to remember Ray being on Jackanory back in the day?....

'Big Deal' was a brilliant series.

The only memory I have, of that series (because I do recall watching it) is a scene where RB's character is rushing to the address/location of a fellow addict, only to discover that, said character, has hung himself.
This is is the clever bit.
The shadow of the hanging body; is, then, cast upon Ray Brooks face, in such a way as to 'explain' what has occurred. Without (IIRC) showing an actual hanging cadaver.
The cinematography of that scene has, for whatever reason, lodged in my head; since: 85? 86?
