Oh dear,

I got caught up with this thing once, thinking that I would be able to win loads of money. Ended up owing them.

Don't know if I upset about it? Don't think so.

You will have to wait in line with everyone else who wants a piece of them.

Word: Administration

"Life's Like That"

Delroy McGinty had a surprise when he woke up one morning - all his tyres were flat, with not a patch in sight. He never did like the name Patch and called all his dogs Rover. None of these dogs could fix a tube and, despite having three bikes and knowing everything about Simeon 1 (thanks to a google typo) he was snookered. How did it work out for him? Turn to Page 76...

Always liked RD for some strange reason - the YES envelopes and the no ones...

If you're a creditor make sur eyou stick the stamp on the letter for the additional £10,000!

(which with a ditribution of 0.01p per £100 owed will get you - drum roll & flashing lights - 1p)

have a nice atlas i still use and 'foods that harm foods that heal' (which i have not read for 8 years) but i made the life-changing and monumental decision to stop sending back my entries for the £250000 draw about 6 years ago.

it could have all been so different...

As a kid, I read a lot of RD. My mum used to get the condensed books and I churned through an awful lot of them, For better or for worst they contributed to a very good 'Reading Age' level when I was a kid.

Also have a few big glossy RD books on the shelves, a particularly good one on 'Food from your garden'.
It's inevitable now that the dog has had it's day, Thanks to arrival of the Internet, multi-channel TV a myriad glossy mags and probably an inability of RD to move with the times.

I shan't mourn its passing, but will remember it with fondness.
