Anybody still use one?
I remember them as a kid, bathrooms used to be full of them. I even recall they came flat and you stuck-em in the bath and up they swelled.

Have they too gone the way of white dog poo?

You find them a lot when you’re on holiday around the Mediterranean still, places like the Greek Islands and Turkey where natural sponges occur. They’re usually sold in beach shops and tourist gift shops alongside the local sponges as a cheaper alternative.

I was on holiday in Rhodes this year and I bought one along with some olive oil soap, it was heaven to scrub the salt off each evening with a proper loofah and a nice soap. My skin’s never been so soft.

Oddly, she keeps one in her bedroom. but it's purple, and you have to re-charge it

Hope you let her use it from time to time.

;)
