If I had the chance to go on Strictly I do it like a shot. But perhaps that is a bit nobberish... and it is the only one I would ever want to do. If only Mr G wanted to do dance lessons I would not even think of it! So it's his fault...I just can't identify with anyone who would go on reality TV. Publicity hungry nobbers; and for what reason? I suppose in some cases they manage to make money out of it by shagging a slebrity and posting it on YouTube, but FFS, when is the novelty of appearing on TV going to wear off for these saddos?

That's more a want to dance rather than appear on tv though?
I fear it is not just wanting to learn to dance but to perform in a big sparkly dress in front of hundreds of people with a professional partner, so... yes I want to dance and yes I probably am a bit of a nobber!OK, perhaps my post was a bit of an over generalisation, but from my very limited experience of watching reality TV and then reading about its "stars" in the press, it seems that most of them are just out to get some publicity (ANY publicity) and make a quick buck. Very sad, IMHO..
I don't watch "Strickly"; but is it not more of a competition than a simple reality show? The same could be said of Britains got X voice factor and all its spin-offs. Reality shows in my mind are the constant conveyor belt of pish, glorifying low lifes. Such as ..... Benefits Street and the likes. And people doing everyday stuff like learning to drive. We had one up here which was a series about life on a Kilmarnock housing scheme, and it turned some of the less desirable residents into celebrities. Don't give the nobbers airtime. Better still; nobody watch the trash and then they will soon stop making such nonsensical programmes!I fear it is not just wanting to learn to dance but to perform in a big sparkly dress in front of hundreds of people with a professional partner, so... yes I want to dance and yes I probably am a bit of a nobber!

I hope not. I actually like that show. And for once it was a show I got into before my better half.Is "Gogglebox" included in this?

I don't either. Luckily the singing shows are self-explanatory and my better half watches the dancing one so can explain that to me. I just go with the flow for the rest of it.I'm very new to it, but have become a huge fan. Only trouble is I don't know what most of them are actually watching, but I still enjoy it!
I'm not sure the space time continuum could cope with that - but I like the cut of your jib!I'm hoping for a Gogglebox of people watching Gogglebox. Is that a thing yet?
It should be.
