Oooooh, crappy white sliced bread. Essential for late night toast fests and bacon butties.

I'm in danger of inconsistency, as I picked the Chorleywood for the Useless thread, but I have to admit there's room in the world for...

...the Breville!

Pickeld herrings (thanks for reminding me, davidc) and Pulpo a la Gallega (thanks again)

yes YES !!!!!

I'm never quite sure whether Danish or German pickled herrings are best - distinct difference in flavour.

Also never sure whether the Spanish, Italians or Greeks do the best octopus dishes.

I've sometimes threatened to change to a fish and fruit diet, would it provide all the nutrients I need?

Cool-tastic! We are not worthy, etc! I know the missing line (I have a stupidly good memory for the ads of my youth)...
it is....
"Carrots and peas and a pinch of seasoning"

Thanks Fnaar (and Uncle Mort) - my Dad would be delighted! (Thanks especially for the missing line, Fnaar - the number of times I've wondered about that....)

Wellies, love em but don't get to wear them enough.

Used to commute in them only 3 years ago, how cool was I?

The Club Sandwich

Campari and Soda

I've never heard of any of these apart from the club sandwich, which is indeed rather good for those of us with a big gob, and Campari & soda, which I've never experienced, perhaps because I've never been able to disassociate it from Leonard Rossiter. Not that I dislike LR - quite the opposite - but I don't think the association has enhanced my perceptions of Campari any.
