rear derailer

Hi, this is my first post, looking for some help, wrecked my Shimano RD-M430 rear derailer, only place I am seeing a replacement is coming from Hong Kong, went to halfords and thet suggested a RD-R3000 to replace, is this possible or does anyone have another suggestion that I can try?

Check out eBay - there’s a new one on there now. Shinano RD -M430 at £39.69

They will allow me to take my bike in and they will fit and try it!

Hi @fergie and to the site.

A quick search of Shimano's site shows me that the RD M430 is Alivio spec. The one suggested by Halfords looks like it should work fine.
