My bike has its rear disc brake mounted on the stay. This makes fitting a rear kickstand awkward. I saw this one with a similar arrangement but can’t find anyone that will sell me a stand like it. Any suggestions?

There is an RS21 rear very cheap on ebay, rim brakes only of course.
" If you need a bombproof, affordable wheelset for daily riding, commuting, or winter training that won't break the bank and offers dependable performance, the Shimano RS21 is an excellent choice, often recommended as a big upgrade from stock wheels. "

I bought a spare spoke but never needed it. Also a 200lb plus reddit rider likes his, corresponding to my observation, that being 'likely will never needs truing'. I used to carry the spare spoke but after much heavy touring, them staying 100% true upped my confidence.
As an aside, my ebike wheels stay true so maybe, via neccessity, they also get good build attention at the factory.

If your bike still has the space there is an dedicated spot for an stand right behind the crank. they go right under the pre-drilled hole and follow the (opposite) chainstay. Alternatively you also have ones that go around the opposite chain stay tubes only. (can't find the word for it so hope this is clear enough)

Edited to Add looking at the picture you don't have much space, on the stay, i would say on the SC letter maximum otherwise the stand clamp is gonna clamp you brake cable aswell. A clamp like in you picture with a longer arm would work too. i think.

That looks like a Hebie kickstand; we sell them at work. Unfortunately, I suspect Tübingen is a bit of a long way from Hampshire.

do you really near a kickstand? most people manage just fine without one.

I noticed that when I last visited the UK. A stand is pretty much considered essential here. As the OP has discovered, that means we have a lot more stands available.
