Rear light for Tortec pannier

Hi

Just fitted a Tortec pannier rack to my Kaffenback. It has a good looking place for mounting a decent rear light (plate with 2 bolt holes) so I'm looking for recommendations please..

Visibility from rear obviously, but also the sides, do any rear lights show to the sides?

I went for the Cateye TL-150( I think) which has a reflector and lights and mounting for rack.
