Does anyone know l can another mounts for this light?
I have 4 lights, but only 3 mounts, & l want to ‘double up’, now l’ve put a rack on the work-bike

I’ve looked at (the most likely) ‘St Johns Cycles’, but can’t see one

I guess the simplest way, & gets me a spare, is to buy another
(all of mine are the 50 lumen varients)

Lefty tighty. Get it righty.
@Richard A Thackeray

I think you have two options: a) hideous bodge involving cable ties, duck tape and oddments, that will probably fail and the light will fall off. b) buy a spare.

I suppose there's c) spend a very long time reverse engineering the mount in CAD. Have it 3D printed. Find that you've got it slightly wrong. Bodge with duck tape. The light still falls off.

Under the back of the rear rack is best protected position and least obstructed. I run by cable over the rear mudguard but unless Im am mistaken, chromoplastic guards can act as conductors. True or false?

Cable? But it's a USB rechargeable battery light.

Still the best location. Does your rack have a standard lamp bracket or can you fix one?
Yes it has, for a vertical mount
Previously, it's been 2 x 'upside down' mounts of the same lamp (50 lumen) on the seat-stays, another on the seat-pin & a 4th (different flasher, also on the seatp-pin)
Whilst they're rather bright/cheap, they give no indication when they're going to die, so 4 lights give me 'built in redundancy'

On the question of what is the best location, the back of the rack is also my favoured location. My Tubus rack has a plate across the back with some holes in it at the back for mounting a light or lights. I've bodged a Cateye mount on it as follows.

But it doesn't really matter if you don't have a mount.

I found a rear light on the pavement once, so not being the sort to pass up a freebie, I made a mount for it, and used it for donkey's years. It was better than the one I bought to replace it actually.
