Rear wheel axel extension ?

Might be a dumb question.... but...

I have been given a very nice set of single-speed wheels and want to put them on my current One One single-speed; however, the rear wheel axel is shorter than my frame gap by about 1-2cm.

Is there a way I can extend the axel on the non-chain side, rather than stress the frame and bend it in (which does not seem like a good option) ?

Whether a replacement axle can be introduced depends on what hub you have got.

Do the ends of the axle actually extend beyond the dropouts far enough to get a nut on? If so all you need do is space out the current axle. If not then you'll need a new axle.

The burning question is what hub it's running on.

I take it you have the pompino with the 135mm rear spacing.

We need to know what hub it is so we can recommend a rear axle to fit.

Thanks. But I have realised I am just being dumb - dooooh.
and I can put the lock washers on the inside of the chain stays, which gives me just enough to get the end nuts on (with a little bit of pinching).

Thanks for the offers of help.
